Harold Wheeler (Musical Supervisor/Orchestrations) began his career as the youngest and first black conductor of the Broadway musical, Promises, Promises. His other shows include Coco, Two Gentlemen of Verona and The Wiz. Currently he is the musical supervisor and principle orchestrator for Lena Horne: The Lady and Her Music.

Wheeler's most recent Broadway credit is The Full Monty. He has also worked on both revivals of Little Me, The Life, Side Show, and the infamous Carrie (which, like Dreamgirls, he also replaced the orchestrator before the Broadway opening).
